A Rare Old Authentic SET of 16 Big Russian Communist Epoch Propaganda Posters. Title: "Motherland Defence - holy duty of USSR Citizen".
The Measures of the Posters are 22 3/4" x 18" (58 x 45 cm).
Made in USSR. Printed by DOSAAF Publishing House, Moscow in 1975. Good condition, just cover edge is teared - see photo for all details. There are 16 posters (#1-15, #18), it has to be 20 posters, 3 posters are missing. Very nice and rare item.
DOSAAF - Voluntary Society of Assistance to the Army, the Air Force and the Navy. It was the name of a paramilitary society of the Soviet Union. The goal of the society was preparation of reserves for armed forces. It was a powerful militarized organization, with its own aerodromes, radio clubs, parachute towers and firing ranges.
