An Extremely Rare Old Russian Communist Epoch Red VELVET Banner.
One side: CCCP Coat of Arms and embroidered inscriptions: "Council of Ministers of USSR, Soviet Central Council of Trade Unions",
"To the winner in the All Soviet Union Socialist Competition".
Other side: Lenin BUST and inscriptions: "Workers of the world, unite" and
"Under Banner of Marxism-Leninism, under the leadership of Communist Party of the Soviet Union - forward to the Victory of Communism!".
The measures 65 3/4" x 50" ( 167 x 127 cm).
Made in USSR circa 1970 of special high quality (light and smooth) red velvet with yellow fringes on 3 sides. The Lenin Bust and Soviet Union CREST are the combination of excellent patchwork and embroidery. It looks just great and will be a great addition to your collection! Only the best communist organizations or big plants were awarded by this banner - during All Union Communist Party meeting in Moscow. Only several enterprises were awarded per year!
