An Extremely Rare and Very Nice Wall Hanging Rushnik with examples of patterns and writing. This is Hand-made embroidered homespun linen rushnik. Inscription: "Band of pattersns and embroideries".
L= 108" (270 cm).
Made in Ukraine in 1930. Good condition - see photo for all details.
Before revolution this kind of 'Rushnyk' (tapestry) was made in Ukraine to decorate Icons.
