DOSAAF  - Voluntary Society of Assistance to the Army, the Air Force and the Navy. It was the name of a paramilitary society of the Soviet Union. The goal of the society was preparation of reserves for armed forces. It was a powerful militarized organization, with its own aerodromes, radio clubs, parachute towers and firing ranges.
