Korolev was a General Constructor, Designer and General Manager of all soviet Space Programs from its first beginning. Under his management were made the flights of first Soviet Russian Sputnik ( Satellite ) and flights of Yuriy Gagarin and others in 1950-1960s. Zhytomyr is a native town of Korolev, it is in Ukraine. Now in Zhytomyr there is the Sergey Korolev House-Museum and Museum of Space Exploration.
