An Extremely RARE Authentic Soviet Russian WALL PLAQUE - PLATE "Moscow Mausoleum LENIN - STALIN!!!".
There are two inscriptions on the plate: "Moscow - Mausoleum" and above the entrance: "Lenin - Stalin". Probably it was the last propaganda item with the name of Stalin made in USSR!.
Diameter: 7"(18 cm).
Made in USSR of aluminum. Good condition, need some cleaning, there are some small scratches - see photo for all details.
As you know only during short period after his death 1953 until 1961 the STALIN WAS IN THE MAUSOLEUM WITH LENIN.
Then he was taken out and his name on the front above the entrance was deleted. Most such items were destroyed after decisions of XX Congress CPSU by the Soviet Government during the so-called "De-stalinization" campaign of the mid- to late 1950's.
