An Old Authentic Cast Desktop Presentation of the Famous Soviet Monument Big ROCKET (it was the First Russian Ballistic Rocket). On the backside signed by the Sculptor : Fajdysh.
H=13 1/2" (34 cm). Weight 3 pounds (1.4 kg).
Made in USSR circa 1960. Rocket made of heavy metal with bronze color coating, base made of marble, Tsiolkovskiy figurine made of metal alloy looks like bronze. Good condition – see photo for all details.
Dedicated to Konstantin Tsiolkovskiy, and was built in Russian city Kaluga (his native town).
